Title: Artistic Director Needed

Duties:

  1. Direct and lead musical rehearsals and performances; arrange auditions and consider such factors as ensemble size and abilities, availability of score, and the need for musical to be performed.
  2. Compose music for request from special programs such as film festival, arts festival;
  3. Participate in music program production by studying budget, background information, objectives, presentation approaches, styles, and techniques.
  4. Use music knowledge, composition and conducting skills to lead the choir and instrumentalists to achieve optimum effect on music performance. Interpret the work of composers for productions.
  5. Study voice, rhythm, tone and tempo of every individual and coach them individually to improve their musical skills. Audition and select performers for musical presentations;
  6. Enhances art department and organization; exploring opportunities to add value to department accomplishments;
  7. Meets art department cost standards by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions. Recommend policies to improve the art department;
  8. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with producers, artists’ managers, composers and other industry contacts;
  9. Stay updated on latest developments in music industry.
